Types Of Military Boots

One thing that always frustrates me about a new trend that takes off and becomes successful is when I decided to join in and begin there is always so much choice and I get completely stressed with what to choose and or which style is best. Well if you’re anything like me you defiantly should read on….

I have compiled a list of the most popular styles and types of military boots, what they look best with and how they should be worn. First is the classic style military boot with lace up detailing.

Classic Military Boots

These boots are approximately between 9 and 10” in height with a low heel. Because they are a high ankle boot pair these classic military boots with leggings or jeans tucked in, loosen the lace detailing to give a relaxed look to the boots, thus getting the most out of the boots and showing them off completely.

Ladies check out these super cute dirty beige military boots! These are very similar to the ‘classic’ style boot above however they feature zip and buckle detailing. The zip on the side of these boots does not zip up nor down it is solely an added accessory, they do however feature an inside zip for easy wearing and adjustability. The light finish on these boots is ideal when paired with floral patterns for summer. Floaty dresses and skirts would be perfect!

Tall Military Boots

Tall Military Boots

The perfect military boots for all floaty dresses and skirts, these tall calf military boots with lace up detailing and double buckle straps are best paired with chunky knit socks, leg warmers and/or leggings. Tall military boots are a typical modification to the classic militaries I previously described, unlike the classic military boots wear these calf length militaries with tight lace up and buckle straps fastened. British celebrity A-list Fearne Cotton was seen in calf length military boots paired with a floaty lace skirt and thick colourful tights.

Military boots don’t just come in black, grey and brown… these stunning ladies pink military boots with stud detailing are ideal for the summer. The structure of the boot is exactly like the classic military boot with an additional inside zip for easy wearing. These boots have then been finished in stud embellishment, the perfect fashion pair. Wear them loose or tight for a complete look.

The latest look in military boots are these cone heeled militaries with buckle and lace up detailing. These put sexy into the military trend, they can be worn several ways but look best with the ankle cuff folded over and the laces loose. Wear these military boots with wet look wax legging or skinny jeans.

Last winter All Saints brought out a modified version of their classic military boots, the same concept applies they just added an extra strap around the cuff. I found these exact boots with a modified cuff strap. Finished in jet black with a polished shine these boots are the perfect example of army boots. The best way to wear these boots is with the strap completely fastened and the laces pulled tight, team with jeans or trousers for a military combat look and double breasted jacket to complete the look.

Low Ankle Military Boots

Low Ankle Military Boots

Ideal for the summer and my favourite modification to the classic military boots are these cut off low ankle boots. From the images there is no direct difference between the boots other than the height and that’s solely because the only difference is the height! These are a miniature version of classic militaries, team with calf length leggings and skirts or dresses and leg warmers for a complete fashion military look.
